A 140 in3 engine operating at 5000 RPM and has an MEP value of 120 psi. The brake horsepower at the same engine speed is measured to be 84 bhp. Calculate the mechanical efficiency of this engine, and round to the nearest tenth of a percent.

A supercharged 454 in3 V-8 engine has an MEP value of 190 psi  4500 RPM. The brake horsepower is measured to be 410 psi. Calculate the mechanical efficiency to the nearest tenth of a percent.
