A V-8 engine is placed on a dynamometer, and its brake horsepower output is measured to be 229 bhp. The indicated horsepower at the same engine speed is calculated to be 280 ihp. Determine the mechanical efficiency of this engine, and round to the nearest tenth of a percent.
