Answer to Question 1

Answer: The Doric order has a plain capital, the Ionic order's capital is distinguished by a scroll, and the Corinthian order is decorated with stylized acanthus leaves.

Answer: It is a row of columns set at regular intervals around a building; they support the base of the roof.
