Answer: The author writes that we can experience architecture in relief, in-the-round, and as environments. He states that we might look at them on a wall, rather like we look at a painting; we might walk around them; or we might even enter into them.

Answer: The Spiral Jetty was a landscape created by man. This is made clear by the spiral form, which is an old ornamental and symbolic design in art.
