Answer to Question 1

1. Revise for content: Being sure that all needed information is included.
2. Revise for style: Reading the material aloud to find the rhythm and flow.
3. Revise for correctness: Being sure that the writing conforms to Standard English.

Answer to Question 2

a. Ensure that the content is relevant to the purpose of the message.
b. Verify that the purpose is clear.
c. See whether the message is sensitive to the reader's needs.
d. Delete information that is unnecessary for the reader to understand the message.
e. Add any essential information that was omitted.
f. Review the organization of the topics and rearrange them if necessary.
