Bob and Mary start traveling toward each other from 1,050 miles apart. Bob is traveling at 24 miles per hour; Mary at 26 miles per hour. Compute the time elapsed before they meet.

Keating had quarterly inventories of 7,000,00 . at the end of Q1, 7,000,00 . at the end of Q2, 5,000,00 . at the end of Q3, and 6,000,00 . at year-end. If the year-end inventory for Keating had been the same as the beginning of the year inventory, what would have been the average inventory for the year?
