A renter wanted to paint a small wall in her apartment. She bought a can paint that was supposed to cover 110 square feet. The height of the wall was 8 1/3 feet high. What length of wall could she paint with this one can of paint?

Answer to Question 1

110 8 1/3 = 110 25/3 = 110/1  3/25 = 66/5 = 13 1/5 feet

Answer to Question 2

5,200  0.09  135/360 = 175.50; 5,200 + 175.50 = 5,375.50
