Answer to Question 1

Find the number of regular time and overtime hours worked. Find the regular time and overtime pay rates. Calculate the employee's regular time pay and overtime pay. Add the regular time pay to the overtime pay to find the gross wages.

Answer to Question 2

Gross pay = pay per time period  number of time periods worked.
