In the chi-square test for equality of proportions, the procedure is identical test for independence of two variables with the exception that in the test for equality of proportions:
 a. each column consists of observations for an independent sample.
  b. each table will always have 2 rows.
  c. the number of degrees of freedom will be the number of rows times the number of columns.
  d. both a and b.
  e. all of the above.
