Answer to Question 1

The purpose two-way ANOVA is to simultaneously examine the effects of two factors on a dependent variable and the effect of interactions between the different levels of these two factors.

Answer to Question 2

In the one-way ANOVA, the treatments are randomly assigned to the test units. In the randomized block design, the test units are first arranged into similar groups and then the treatments are randomly assigned.
