Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

Surveying friends or coworkers and quota sampling are two methods of nonprobabilistic sampling. The primary advantage of these methods is that they are inexpensive and quick. The drawback is that, since the sample is not chosen using probabilistic methods, there is no valid way of determining the reliability of the resulting estimates.
