Answer to Question 1

ANS: C
Aldosterone synthesis and secretion are regulated primarily by the renin-angiotensin system. Al-dosterone synthesis and secretion are not regulated by the sympathetic nervous system, adreno-corticotropic hormone feedback, or positive feedback.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: B
The major products stored and secreted by the adrenal medulla are the catecholamines epineph-rine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine. The adrenal cortex secretes cortisol and androgens. The pi-tuitary secretes estrogens.
