Answer to Question 1

ANS: C
Hypersensitivity is an altered immunologic response to an antigen that results in disease or dam-age to the individual. It is not a reduced immune response or a response to an infectious agent. Antigenic desensitization is performed to decrease hypersensitivity.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A, B, C, F
The secondary lymphoid organs include the spleen, lymph nodes, adenoids, tonsils, Peyer patches (intestines), and appendix. The liver and bone marrow are not secondary lymph organs.
