Level II codes cover supplies, DME, drugs, nonphysician providers, and certain physician services for Medicare and Medicaid.

Answer to Question 2

In addition to reporting professional services, HCPCS codes are used to report nonphysician services, supplies, durable medical equipment, and injectable drugs.
