Rationale: Standard precautions are not required when being exposed to hair. All other items listed as well as blood, semen, vaginal secretions, cerebrospinal fluid, pleural fluid, body fluid containing blood, unidentifiable body fluid, saliva, feces, nasal secretions, sputum, tears, and urine require the implementation of standard precautions.
