Answer to Question 1

A PVC is premature and occurs before the next expected sinus beat. A ventricular escape beat is late, occurring after the next expected sinus beat.

Answer to Question 2

SA node: 60 to 100 beats/min
AV junction: 40 to 60 beats/min
Ventricles: 20 to 40 beats/min
