1. The flushed feeling occurs during the procedure when the dye is injected.
2. Urine should be clear.
3. Fluids are encouraged, not restricted.
4. The injection site should be assessed for signs of phlebitis or dye reaction because dye can be irritating to the vein.

2. Inspect the skin for color and condition.
