Since the client is prescribed a vitamin injection, the best response is for the nurse to explain how the injection provides a supplement of a vitamin known to be low in people with numbness in their feet and legs. The vitamin injection will not cause the client to want to eat better, give the client more energy to exercise, or improve sleep.
