What job could you get with a psychology degree and with the librarian degree, would you be stuck just as a librarian at an elementary school? What would the salaries be?

the field of psych is extremely variable...your earnings depend entirely on what field of psych you end up in.  Industrial-Organizational psychologists generally earn the most, depending on the area.  You can major and psychology and not necessarily get a job directly related to it - I have a friend with a BA in psychology who now works in public affairs.  I believe she makes $45K/year.

In order to become a librarian at any level, you need to get an MLS (Masters in Library Science).  Becoming a librarian does not necessarily condemn you to working the book stacks in an elementary school, most people go on to specialize as research librarians at colleges or universities and earn around $55K/year, again depending on the region.
