Author Question: Use your knowledge of psychology to explain why Paula might be feeling unwell? (Read 1651 times)

During the last few months, Paula has suffered from headaches and colds, and has been having difficulty sleeping. She decided to keep a diary an found that her headaches, colds and sleep problems were associated with experiences such as having too much homework, losing house keys an being stuck n traffic.

feeling stressed lowers your immune system and leads to more colds, flu and illness

A change in your sleep pattern is the first sign of relapse, or a bout with mental illness. Stress and anxiety yes can weaken the body and immune system resulting in minor illnesses like colds,headaches and even flu.
