As a support to the antibiotic therapy prescribed for a child's cellulitis of the lower leg, the nurse would suggest that the parent:
 
  a. Keep the area moist with cool cloths
  b. Apply warm, moist compresses to the area
  c. Keep the limb elevated
  d. Gently scrub the area with an alcohol swab

2. The child may be lower functioning and not be able to understand how to do ADLs or have the physical ability to do them.
3. Movement is important, but not the priority.
4. Encouragement to do as much as possible is important for independence, but the child will need supervision.
