Answer to Question 2

C
The nurse would chose the vastus lateralis, because it is well-developed at birth, the largest muscle mass and has the fewest vessels and nerves. The dorsogluteal is not fully developed until the child has walked for 1 to 2 years. The ventrogluteal should not be used until 18 months. The deltoid can't be used to hold large volumes of medication, nor for medications that need to be administered into the deep muscle mass.

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
