Answer to Question 1

Answer:4
Rationale:Flat, with legs slightly elevated,is the position that is used for a client experiencing shock. This allows for the blood pressure to be maintained during this critical time. The Trendelenburg position is no longer recommended for the treatment of shock. The position causes abdominal organs to press against the diaphragm, which impedes respirations and decreases coronary artery filling.High Fowler's and reverse Trendelenburg are positions that have the head elevated. This position is not effective to maintain a blood pressure when shock is occurring.

Answer to Question 2

Rationale 2: Being involved in the prenatal care, the father is less likely to experience helplessness.
Rationale 3: Being involved in the prenatal care, the father is less likely to experience guilt during the pregnancy.
Rationale 4: Being involved in the prenatal care has not been shown to decrease the anxiety for the father.
Rationale 5: Being involved in the prenatal care has not been shown to influence any developmental barriers of the father.
