The nurse is caring for a client with uncontrolled maternal diabetes who presents to the labor unit for induction of labor.
 
  The client asks, Why does the doctor want to induce labor when my due date isn't until tomorrow? The nurse would explain the reason for induction of labor is: A) The doctor always does this.
