Answer to Question 1

B
Pregnancy-induced hypertension is not a contributing factor. Contributing factors to uterine rupture include a previous cesarean scar; major surgery involving the uterus, such as a myomectomy; congenital abnormality of the uterus; grand multiparity; and use of oxytocin or prostaglandins. Rupture also has been reported when forceps were used. Blunt trauma has been associated with spontaneous uterine rupture.

Answer to Question 2

4
Rationale:
1. The area should be cleansed with alcohol.
2. The arms, thighs, abdomen, and fatty part of the buttocks can be used for injection sites.
3. The injection should be given at the same time every day so that a routine is established. This minimizes the trauma of receiving daily injections. Delaying giving the injection will only heighten the child's anxiety.
4. Lipoatrophy can occur at growth hormone injection sites; therefore, the sites should be rotated.
