Answer to Question 1

D
Due to the adaptation required of each of the family members of the reconstituted family unit, this is the best intervention for the nurse. Not all reconstituted families are nuclear families. Recommending medication and psychotherapy assumes that the reconstituted family unit is abnormal. Also, the significant adults should make there own decision to participate in counseling sessions.

Answer to Question 2

A
Phenytoin reduces the efficacy of COC. Penicillin, Tetracycline, and Prednisone do not impact on the efficacy of COC.
