This is false reassurance and does not deal with the concerns expressed by the woman.
The woman may not by able to answer why questions. It may also make her defensive.
This is a closed statement and does not encourage the woman to express her feelings.

Firmness of the uterus is necessary to control bleeding from the placental site. The nurse should first assess for firmness and massage the fundus as indicated.
