Answer to Question 1

ANS: A, D, E
Candidiasis diaper dermatitis skin lesions are treated with topical nystatin, miconazole, and clotrimazole. Bactroban and Neosporin are used to treat bacterial dermatitides.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A
The disease is usually a benign, self-limiting illness that resolves spontaneously in 4 to 6 weeks. The animals are not ill during the time they transmit the disease. Treatment is primarily supportive. Antibiotics do not shorten the duration or prevent progression to suppuration. The usual manifestation is a painless, nonpruritic erythematous papule at the site of inoculation.
