Answer to Question 1

c

Answer to Question 2

The word geodemographic is a conjunction of geography and demography. The premise underlying geodemographic targeting is that people who reside in similar areas, such as neighborhoods or postal ZIP code zones, also share demographic and lifestyle similarities. Several companies have developed services that delineate geographical areas into common groups, or clusters, wherein reside people with similar demographic and lifestyle characteristics. These companies (and their services) include CACI (ACORN), Knowldege Factory (ClusterPlus), Experian (MOSAIC), Nielsen Claritas (PRIZM NE), and SBI (GeoVALS). Nielsen Claritas' PRIZM NE system is described in detail in the text, with two of the 66 clusters (Bohemian Mix and Suburban Pioneers) described in detail.
