Answer to Question 1

The Federal Reserve does not conduct both fiscal and monetary policy. The Federal Reserve is responsible for only the nation's monetary policy but it does not conduct the nation's fiscal policy.

Answer to Question 2

An extensive-form game is a representation of a strategic situation in terms of a game tree that specifies the order of play and payoffs that will result from different strategies, while a simultaneous-move game is one in which each player chooses his or her action at the same time.
