Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

Because of discoveries made during the Industrial Revolution, including new methods of power generation (e.g., steam and coal), manufacturing processes were greatly improved. This meant that more people were needed in factories at the same time that fewer people were needed in the agricultural industries. Thus, people were forced to move to large cities where factories were located.
