Why do hunting and gathering societies have the least amount of conflict among the different types of societies?

Hunting and gathering societies are organized around kinship, do not accumulate a surplus of food, have little concept of personal property, and depend on mutual cooperation for their survival. All of these characteristics contribute to their very low levels of conflict.
