ANSWER: Social isolation, institutional racism, stress, poverty, attempts to medicate emotional pain

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: It allows social workers to evaluate each individual based on his or her unique circumstances. It allows
treatments to be tailored to the individual, not assuming one cause or cure for all people.
