More specifically, this flexible device enables clinicians to assess the structures of the nasal, oral, laryngeal, and pharyngeal spaces. A flexible endoscope can also be used to evaluate the client's swallowing function. In addition, this procedure does not expose clients to radiation that can damage body tissues. As a result, clinicians will have more time to examine their clients because they do not need to worry about overexposing clients to radiation.
