Answer to Question 1

Answer: Summary of suggested answer - Title I contains employment provisions, Titles II and III focus on government and public access to facilities. It affects employers with more than 15 employees. It prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities who are able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation. A disability is a physical or mental impairment of one or more life activities, such as walking, speaking, breathing, sitting, lifting, etc. (See page 97 for list.) Essential functions are those which every employee must be able to do. Reasonable accommodation is providing the means for the disabled person to work without undue hardship to the employer.
