Explanation: Neural networks are special because they can learn from experience. Situations are shown to the network, and the network learns to recognize keys to these situations so that it can recognize them and employ what was learned to make decisions in the future. Drawing conclusions, asking questions, or performing complicated calculations are normal functions for a software program and not special to neural networks.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: C
Explanation: Rather than study how people spend money, Simon studied how people made decisions. He found that people were limited in their ability to use logic and were not perfectly rational in their decision making. Simon did not investigate how people avoid decisions.
