Networth, an MNC in the phase of rapid expansion, has been facing problems in day-to-day operational functioning as the need to coordinate common operational functions at multiple locations is straining its system.

Employee recruitment, wages and strategic planning were carried out from a central location for all branches. However, each branch has different needs and centralized planning did not cater to these. What Networth ideally requires is an adaptable organizational structure that will allow the formation of partially autonomous units at the different locations where the company has branches. Each unit will have its own HR and Accounts divisions and conduct planning individually. Which form of organizational design has Networth implemented?
  A) hierarchical design
  B) cellular design
  C) horizontal design
  D) matrix design
  E) multi-divisional design
