Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

These grouping plans may allow for improved instruction because of increased homogeneity of the groups. The Joplin Plan promotes homogeneity by grouping students who are at the same academic (grade) level but in different grades. Within- class ability grouping groups students from a single classroom into math or reading sections.
