As export sales increase, the firm will tend to hire specialists in export documentation, international trade financing, overseas distribution, and marketing. As the firm evolves to the use of an international division, it will house a separate division at headquarters that will be headed by a PCN. Managers of foreign subsidiaries will be either HCNs or PCNs. As the firm develops into a global organization, the specific knowledge a manager possesses will become more important than his or her citizenshi
