Globalization into emerging markets diminishes borders, provides job opportunities, and improves infrastructure. Critics argue that globalization into markets promotes the interest of corporations at the expense of communities, which often lack the labor laws and environmental protection laws to prevent human rights violations and the destruction of natural resources.
