In SQL Server 2014, new databases are created in the SQL Server Management Studio. Right-click the Databases folder object to display a shortcut menu, then click the New Database command. The New Database dialog box is displayed. In the New Database dialog box, enter the database name and any other needed data. Click the OK button to create the database.
