Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

Update anomalies occur when you have to update the same data in several different spots. If a customer, for instance, has several different kinds of accounts, and their contact information is stored in separate tables for each of those accounts, then any change in their contact information would have to be updated in each of those accounts. This greatly increases the chance of mistakes in entry and inconsistent information.
