Teachers need to understand the various structures of informational text so they can prepare their students for learning. Describe the four graphic organizers that reflect expository text structure.

Answers should include the four graphic organizer structures: sequence, compare-contrast, cause and effect and description.

Answer to Question 2

Answers should include intense involvement with a subject matter, the opportunity to build background knowledge, tap into their interests and abilities, and learn new and difficult vocabulary.
