Even though the delegatee (the one who receives the delegation) receives direction from the pro-fessional who delegates a task and must have the authority to complete it, the delegator retains accountability for the overall outcome and completion of the activity. The delegatee has respon-sibility (obligation to engage in the task) and authority for the task.
