Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

C
In the second step of the Decision-Making Tree, communication is stressed. Before delegating to the NAP, the nurse would assess the NAP's understanding of how the task is to be accomplished, when and what information is to be reported, and any unique patient requirements. Because communication is a two-way process, the NAP will ask questions regarding the delegation and seek clarification if needed.
