Change is described as an act, process of alteration, substitution, or variation. Change can be personal, professional, or organizational. Professional changes can be a change in career, educational goals such as acquiring a BSN degree, or being promoted to a new position at work. Organizational changes tend to focus on the achievement of specified organizational goals.
