Answer to Question 1

D
Having a consensus to a decision or solution to a problem means that all group members can live with and hopefully support the decision regardless of whether they totally agree with it 100. The common misconception is that they must all agree 100.

Answer to Question 2

C
In the Delphi technique of group decision making the participants (or members) are not present and questionnaires are distributed to the participants to elicit their responses and opinions. The opinions are then summarized and returned back to the group as many times as needed in order to reach consensus. In the nominal technique the members are in a face-to-face setting. PERT refers to the program evaluation and review technique and it is decision-making tool/diagram. Gantt is another type of decision-making tool and is a type of chart not a group decision-making technique.
