Answer to Question 2

Ans: B
Feedback:
Gender-based violence is violence that targets people or groups of people on the basis of their gender. Femicide is the homicide of a female that occurs in the context of intimate partner violence (IPV). IPV is a pattern of assaultive and coercive behaviors perpetrated against an individual by one who is, was, or wishes to be in an intimate relationship with that individual and that may include inflicted physical injury, psychological abuse, sexual assault, progressive social isolation, deprivation, intimidation, and threats. Gender-based violence is based on the gender of the victim, not that of the perpetrator.
