There are similarities as well as differences between the various qualitative methods. However, one general standard or critique for qualitative methods, while paying close attention to the similarities as well as differences is required when critiquing.
There are certain common standards that can be used in critiquing all qualitative research.
There are standards for qualitative research just like with quantitative research.
A balanced presentation of strengths and weaknesses is expected.
