Explain that the Watergate scandal involved a media investigation, led by Washington Post reporters Woodward and Bernstein, into the arrest of five men for trying to burglarize the Democratic Party headquarters, which eventually led to Nixon stonewalling congressional investigations, threatening the Washington Post, and eventually resigning from office.
